Eli Weissman

As a resident of Washington, D.C., since 1998, Eli is familiar with the ins and outs of this unique region. He began his tenure working on Capitol Hill in the office of Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. After leaving the Hill he served as a registered lobbyist for two conservation organizations, specializing in budget and appropriations, before starting his own governmental affairs practice, Weissman Federal Strategies. Eli has lived the life of a government affairs professional and is intimately familiar with the pressures facing lobbyists, lawyers, and DC Insiders.

Of the nearly 690,000 registered financial advisors in the United States, Eli is one of less than 1,500 who have pursued advanced certifications to become a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM practitioner and a CERTIFIED PRIVATE WEALTH ADVISOR® professional. This level of advanced training means that he can offer his clients a full suite of wealth management solutions, including in such areas as investments, retirement planning, and tax mitigation, as well as more complex and sophisticated services, including asset protection, wealth transfer planning and charitable giving.

On a personal note, he and his wife Trish have been married since 2006. Among their favorites activities are spoiling their rescue dog Lexi and spending time at their vacation home on Cape Cod. When Eli’s not working, you’ll find him heading out on a hiking trail, cooking on his Big Green Egg, learning to play piano, and competing in a long-running fantasy baseball league.
